Golden Knights Ticket Giveaway Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS ARE NOT A SPONSOR OF THIS PROMOTION.

I. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States who reside in the state of Nevada, California, Utah, and Arizona who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry (the “Entrant” or “Entrants”). Must possess active and registered account to the Las Vegas Review-Journal at the time of drawing. Any account that is registered at the beginning of contest will be automatically entered into contest. Employees, contractors and interns of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc., (“The Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc.”), and each of their respective divisions, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (including, in each case, immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the Giveaway. For purposes of this Giveaway, “immediate family members” is defined as spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws", or by current or past marriage, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other familial extension, and any other persons residing at the same household location, whether or not related. In order to enter the Giveaway or win the prize, the Entrant must comply fully with these official rules (the “Rules”), and by entering agrees to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc., whose decisions shall be binding and final in all respects.

II .Sponsor

Golden Knights Ticket Giveaway is sponsored by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, located at 1111 W. Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, NV 89106. Black Knight Sports and Entertainment LLC dba Vegas Golden Knights and its affiliates are not a sponsor or administrator of this Giveaway.

III. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on March 10, 2023 at 12:00 a.m. and ends April 4, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will be disqualified.

All required information within the registration process of the online account registration process must be filled out or Entrant will be automatically disqualified.
There is a limit of one entry per the Las Vegas Review-Journal account.
No entries will be accepted after 11:59 PM on April 4, 2023.
Winner's name will be released and winner notified on Arpil 6 2023 for the four (4) Golden Knights tickets for game dated Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

VI. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning are based on the number of total entries; winner will be chosen at random.

VII. Prize

During the Giveaway Period there will be a total of one (1) different winner. One winner (1) will be randomly selected to receive four tickets (4) to see the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Seattle Kraken at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Winner will be notified on Arpil 5, 2023 for the four (4) Golden Knights tickets for game dated Tuesday April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the T-Mobile Arena. Winner must claim their prize at the Las Vegas Review-Journal (located at 1111 W. Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, NV 89106) by April 5, 2023, or winnings will be forfeited. Each of the Giveaway Winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (the “Release”) in order to be eligible to accept the prize. In the event a Winner is disqualified for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and no compensation will be given. No substitution or transfer of the prize will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc. The Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc. reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. All local, state and federal taxes incurred by accepting a prize will be the sole responsibility of the Giveaway Winner. Each of the Giveaway Winner may be announced in a future edition of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Prize has an approximate value of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). No substitution or transfer of the prize will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Review-Journal. The Review-Journal reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. All local, state and federal taxes incurred by accepting a prize will be the sole responsibility of the Sweepstakes Winner. The decisions of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc. will be final as to all matters.

VIII. General

By entering, Entrants agree to comply with these Rules and the decisions of the Review-Journal, which are binding and final, and release the Review-Journal and each of its divisions, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone associated with the production of this Giveaway, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including attorney fees) of any kind arising out of their participation in this Giveaway or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize. The potential prize winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning the prize any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem said prize and waives any liability or claims (including attorney fees) which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prize. In the event of non-compliance with these Rules, or if prize is refused or cannot be accepted for any reason, the prize will be forfeited. Upon forfeiture or refusal, no compensation will be given. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the Winner's name, photograph, likeness and/or statements attributed to winner regarding the Sweepstakes, for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation or consent. All entries become the property of the Review-Journal. This Giveaway shall only be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the state of Nevada, without regard to the principles of conflicts of laws and submission of any entry constitutes acceptance of such laws. The Review-Journal reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and/or void any entries held by an Entrant who the Review-Journal believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Giveaway. This Giveaway is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that an Entrant is using the Giveaway for gambling purposes, he/she will be disqualified and reported to authorities. The Review-Journal and its affiliates reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Giveaway, including information on Entrants obtained through the Giveaway, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. The Review-Journal reserves the right to change the rules of the Giveaway at any time.

Participants agree that Vegas Golden Knights and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents do not and will not have any liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in or in party, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this promotion or activity related to the promotion.

IX. Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in the contest constitutes Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
